Summer Classes
A class schedule will be posted in February each year.
Examples of Past Summer Camps
Nature Hunt
Students will be introduced to a new fun fact about nature each day and spend their hike time hunting for evidence. Students will learn about birding, animal tracks, plants and more.
Construction Play
Spend the week building a fort in the woods. Learn to use a saw along with hammers and nails. Spend time exploring levers and pulleys. Just good old fashion hands-on real work!
Art-rageous
For children who like to really get into their art – exploring art mean getting messy. We will try a variety of art mediums; painting, sculpting, collage and more while enjoying nature and the animals on the farm.

Creepy Crawlys
Bringing together our natural curiosity with math and science skills makes for a fun filled week of learning about the St. Croix River and the animals in the water and along the shore. Our hikes in the prairie and woods will offer endless observations about plants, bugs and rocks.
SMArt (Science Math + Art)
The creative aspects are a great way to study science and math. Spend the week exploring science and math in a fun hands-on way and build problem solving skills along the way.
Cookie Math
Who can resist learning about math when you get to eat your work? We will enjoy mixing and cooking a new cookie treat each day and make fun connections to math.
Ready Get Set Go!
Strap on those backpacks and get ready for a fun filled learning experience that will help provide a smooth transition from summer to school. Help ease into the back to school routine with some hands-on learning. This class is particularly helpful for students starting Kindergarten.
